Wattsarb is an all round tree care specialist company run by brothers Ben and Joe Watts and are based in North Devon.
Both have completed degrees in Arboriculture at Myerscough College and are building a trusting, friendly and professional reputation in North Devon, providing services in both tree care maintenance and tree consultancy.
Wattsarb is run by two brothers Ben and Joe Watts based in North Devon. Wattsarb was established in 2015 and has slowly built up getting work through just word of mouth. Since then we have both graduated from Myerscough College with degrees in Arboriculture and Urban Forestry. We are both passionate about trees and the natural environment and if we are not working with trees you will find us on our bikes, surfing or swimming in the rivers on Exmoor enjoying and appreciating the North Devon countryside and all it has to offer.
We work mainly around the North Devon area, but willing to travel further for consultancy work. Additionally we are lucky enough to have worked on Olive (Olea europaea), Carob (Ceratonia siliqua) and Fig trees (Ficus carica) in Portugal and also have worked on trees in France.

Large kit – 3 cubic meters of seasoned logs, £350
Small kit- 1.5 cubic meters of seasoned logs £200
Logs come with sturdy easy and modern storage, delivered and stacked by Wattsarb.
CAN YOU WORK IN ALL WEATHER?
We work in all weather unless it’s dangerous to do so, normally due to high winds.
CLEARING GREEN WASTE
We will remove all green waste and logs from the job if specified, leaving the site tidy.
HEALTH & SAFETY
All work is carried out in a safe manner to working at height regulations, with all our climbing gear tested to LOLER standards. We are first aid at work trained and fully qualified to city and guilds qualifications.

If you are unsure whether your tree has a preservation order or is within a conservation area, we can check for you before we carry out any work. If it is, we can help with the application form.
I HAVE A SICK TREE - CAN YOU HELP?
Poor health of a tree can be influenced by many factors. With our knowledge of pest and diseases along with tree biology, we can come up with relevant management strategies to give your tree a better chance of survival.
FOREST MANAGEMENT
From our first-hand experience of working in forestry, we can work with you to create forest management plans and get the best out of your woodland.
Removal of large Leylandii without damaging the house, barn and mains cables surrounding the tree – France.
Removal of mature sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) in Kentisbury leaving at a height for a hammock.
Macrocarpa (Cupressus Macrocarpa) dismantle over a cycle way in Barnstaple. This tree had lots of hanging dangerous limbs.
We were asked to grind four large stumps from the ground. One ended up being very close to an electric cable under the ground, but with careful work we missed it.
